Key code entry BCM 400

Hi every one, I am going to be adding new sets to a BCM 400. I am waiting on key codes for more sets. I know I have access via telephone so my question is, Can I enter key codes like I would if it were an MICS adding a PRI? This is one of those sites that the customer is leary of every one. They log me in thru one of their PCs and I am a little uncomfortable with whole situation.

I don't think you will be able to add in keycodes via the telset on BCM systems. You need to log into it and add it in under the license section.

If the BCM 400 is R3.7 or lower you have to login via the browser GUI to add keycodes. If it's R4 then use Element Manager to load the new license file.

To add..
Some BCM's you can also use the Telset using F9*8 to enter codes under Entitlements Codes.
If F9*8 is inactive then use EM or Browser to install the .lic file or punch in the digits.....all depends on what version.
