Hi there friends,
I am wondering if any of you might be able to help me with a problem that is driving me crazy.
I have made a new font family using Corel Draw 12 and everything is working perfectly, except the 'kerning'(spacing) between my words. The kerning between the individual letter characters is fine, but I cannot find anywhere in the exporting process, or in any tutorials I have searched for, information on how to set the spacing between the words when the font family is complete and installed into the fonts folder for use in programs. There must be a way to do it, because the kerning in other font families such as standards like Arial, Avente Guarde, Courier, or any other font that comes with Corel, is all spaced nicely. My word spacing is too far apart.
If anyone knows how to adjust, alter or correct the kerning between words, I would be exceptionally and eternally grateful.

I'm open to correction here but I don't think you can alter kerning within Draw after the font is made unless via the normal method on thetoolbar, there are other programmes like Fontographer or Font Factory that can do it but they obviously cost.

I see a space width setting when exporting your initial font creation, perhaps this needs to be reduced,
Hope this helps,
