I had some problems with my PC last month and had to re-install WIN 98 second edition. Ever since then, If I down load and install MSN Messenger, as soon as it starts to run after install I get an "IEEXPLORER generated an invalid page fault at 0247:bff9db61". I ran the system file scanner this AM and it found 2 files that were damaged, but neither one was Kernel32.dll. I had them restored and tried to download messenger again, this time I got an IEEXPLORER stack dump error.

After the error the machine locks up and I have to hit reset, load safe mode and de-install messenger. Then it runs fine.

MSN Support points to a similar error caused by McAfee antivirus that they have a patch for supoosedly, but I use grisofts AVG antivirus and disabling it makes no difference.

Any one have an Idea of what I need to do? (I know, just don't install messenger.....)
