Hi,

I'm puzzled, compiled latest kernel but it won't boot:

BIOS EDD facility v0.16 2004-Jun-25, 1 devices found
VFS: Cannot open root device "hdc1" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option; here are the available partitions:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

I have the correct ATA driver and file systems built in but it's like it can't even see the disk or partition. I also have PC BIOS partition table built in.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I found out that the new ServerWorks OSB4 drivers don't work, I have to use the ones in the "Deprecated" section. Does anyone know why that is?
