We have a problem, on Solaris 8 one of the products we installed needed to be installed in Single User mode and was issued this command: boot -- "-s -D /kernel/unix"
Well the /kernel/unix portion was fat fingered and typed incorrectly /kernal/unix. Now every time the machine boots it ask for the "/kernal/unix" filename. A fresh copy of 8 was installed and the machine still ask for the /kernal/unix file name. How can I get rid of this error??

Thanks....

Mike..

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the product that needed to be installed in single user mode?

Thanks all, I used eeprom to set it back....Now for the "-D" I still haven't figured that one out. It is for the Gauntlet Firewall by Secure Computing.

Thanks..
