kernel panic-Not syncing on VIA Samuel 2 733 MHZ

I have customized kernel and able to run on Intel Atom but got an error message below here when I ran on VIA Samuel 2 733 MHZ.
"Kernel Panic-Not Syncing attempt to kill init Init not tainted 2.6.35-7xxx" My kernel config is for 386 or 586 processor.
Any suggestion solve this problem?
