Kernel Novell & Compressed File

We have recovered data by using Kernel Novell Software. But we cannot read compressed files (word, excel). Is there any software we can use to read those files from CD? Or, is there any other way we can read those word excel files?

This would be better posted in the Office forum. However, if you used Netware's compression, simply re-enable it and uncompress. It all depends on who compressed it. Did your backup software compress it?
