Install a Digi product on my RedHat ES_#, I get:

/lib/modules/2.4.21-15.EL/misc/dgrp.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.21 while this kernel is version 2.4.21-15.EL

Digi say I need to get a copy of the 2.4.21 kernel and install it. Two Issues:
1. I can't find it at RedHat. Do you know where I would look?
2. How do you install it for the benefit of Digi only?

thanks.

It's crazy for them to expect you to downgrade your kernel for their product, in effect rendering your system impossible to keep up-to-date using the normal update channels.

Does it actually prevent the module from loading, or is it just a warning message? If it works anyway, I'd ignore the message.

Were the modules supplied as an RPM? Is it the correct one for your OS release?

Annihilannic.
