SYMPTOMS:

- Network crashes and server needs to be restarted
- Using poolmon you see AfdB tag (Afd.sys) increasing non-paged pool memory usage
- Event ID 2019
Description: The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty.
- In our case, you could also see spoolsv.exe increasing kernel non-paged pool memory. From taskmanager, click view - select columns and check Non-paged pool and handle count. If handle count increases over 5000 you should check what google says about that.

This also caused our backup server to crash while trying to backup this server.

If you have these symptoms you should check and thread96-1153149.
