Hi,

I have a sendmail server which is running on Linux. The version of Linux is :-

Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant)

To be honest, I am an AIX guy and not familiar with Linux. Since yesterday I am getting an error message in /var/log/messages file ..which is

kernel: Device not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the drive

What kind of error is this ? And this server is running on one DELL server. Want to confrim also whether my OS is mirrored. How can I check that?

Set of commands if I get on this to make sure my machine is OK, would be great.

Thanks ...

TIA ..
