Hi guys,
I've recently set up a point to point network with my 2 home PC's and I'm using my remote PC to access the internet via the broadband connection on my host PC.
I'm using the standard IP settings ie: HOST 192.168.0.1 -REMOTE 192.168.0.2 and I have Kerio Firewall on my HOST machine.
I have entered my remote machines IP address into Kerio's trusted network settings but I can only access the internet from the Host machine if I switch off the firewall? File sharing between the 2 machines works ok with Firewall ON. [Standard XP firewall is disabled.]
I have used various settings in the Kerio 'trusted network' area ie: using IP adress/IP address+mask/IP trusted range etc.. for the remote PC but I still cannot access the net with the Firewall running.
It has been suggested that it possibly could be a clash with security settings used by the OS but I doubt this is so?
Any ideas you can throw my way are appreciated.
Cheers,
DaZ
