Kepp button selected

Hello, is there anyway to keep the button in the tool bar selected. For example, after I use the Text Box tool it becomes unselected. If I hold down the Alt key, it stays selected. Is there another way to keep the button selected without holding the Alt key.

...no, because quark by default takes the view that when you draw a text box, you then want to type in it, so it switches to the text tool, which is the only tool that allows you to type...
