Keeps closing down

Using Notes v5.01 and 5.08 on some clients. In the morning when the users are opening notes, the program seems to start but before it gets to the password prompt it just closes down. Has anyone seen this before, if so, did you find a fix?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
