I have a number of email accounts. All of them have the 'save password' option ticked.
However, as I click Send&Receive, it stops at one or more of these accounts and asks for password confirmation.
I just click OK or again tick the 'save password' check box and click on OK without modifying the password, then it proceeds.
How can I prevent this? The passwords are all correct and no confirmation should be needed.

Usually when I get those annoying popups its because the server is being rebooted because I just cancel and the next time it goes to send and receive (I have it set for every 5 minutes) it works fine.

If this happens to you every time you hit send/receive on multiple accounts, then there's definitely a setting that you're missing.

My guess is that you have your pop authentication set right, but not for smtp (your outgoing server).

1) Tools -> Email Accounts
2) Select "view or change existing e-mail accounts" and click Next
3) Select the account you want to fix and click Change

[tab]Note: Here, you should make sure you're Logon Information is setup to
[tab]remember your password. This is for the pop server. You have to dig a bit
[tab]further for smtp.

4) In the lower-right, click More Settings (launches new window)
5) Click the "Outgoing Server" tab
6) Tick the option to enable smtp authentication and fill in your logon information using the "remember password" option
7) Hit OK, followed by Next and Finish back on the original window

Thank you both for the hints.
cdogg, while I was following the check steps you recommended, I noticed that one of my accounts is repeated.
As I click on Send/Receive, he asks me to confirm pop credentials to the second occurance, even though both have the 'save password' checked. I deleted this one and it looks like it's OK now.

Thanks again
