Hi everyone. I'm still suffering from turkey overload and need a little help (yes, my brain and stomach are linked). I've used many great tips from this great forum. I used one in particular from ACRON, to prevent the user from opening my excel app without macros enabled. (see thread 707-351610 It involves an "intro" sheet with all others set to xlveryhidden - works like a charm). One problem, this - and many other of my safeguards - are dependent upon events, etc. and the user can wreak havoc thru the immediate window. IS THERE ANY WAY TO LOCK THE IMMEDIATE WINDOW UP???

Thanks in advance!

What kind of access or user action are you trying to prevent?

Hi Rob,

I was reviewing past threads and relaized this had not been resolved. The reaason for keeping the user out of the immediate window is as follows:

I license EXCEL VBA applications which I've "locked up" as much as possible including an external vendor .dll for machine-specific seat enforcement.

I also rely on events to make sure certain activities are performed at open , save and close. If the user sets enableevents to false, it leaves some things in a non-controlled state. When an EXPLICIT macro run is requested, I make sure the enable events is set to TRUE, but it doesn't plug all holes.

Thanks!
