When I upload a background I have sliced in ImageReady and build the background in a table in DreamWeaver, the slices in the menu bar on the left separate and a white space is inserted between them when I add text to the html area in the center/right of the page. How can I prevent the slices separating like this?

I have attached a link to the file I'm working on.

What do I need to do to keep the slices together?

The height of the cell containing the block quote is 750px high which is far more than the total heights of your images. This makes them spread out to fill the available space.

Thank you, Keith! I just found the link to reply to this message, too. It didn't show up in Safari, but I see it in FoxFire.

I'm also struggling with some buttons I am trying to create. I've built them in Photoshop/ImageReady but when I upload them I just get a blank.

The same thing happens in Flash.

Am I not saving them right, or something? Any idea?

BTW - I like your Web site. How many folks are in the company?

Thanks for the comments about the website, there are two of us creating the website side of things but we call on the services of other freelance workers for more specialised skills.

Hard to say why your images are not showing up.
Check that your images are uploaded correctly and are located in the correct directory by displaying a single image in your browser.
