I have an XP pro machine on a small network with 2 NT 4.0 workstation computers. I have a shared drive on each NT machine which I map on the XP machine. The problem is everytime I logoff, the XP machine requires the password for the mapped drive access to be re-entered. I am connecting to the NT machines as user Administrator of the local NT machines account. (eg. NTMACH1\Administrator) not as a username from the XP machine.

Thanks for any help.

Are you marking the "Save Password" box when you map the drive? That's what I do when mapping to our NT server from XP workstations and never had a problem. Remember, you have to map the drives for each user on an XP machine.
