Keeping info together on a page

In Crystal Reports, if a subsection has either memo fields or boxes, Crystal seems to ignore the 'keep together' requirement for the subsection

It's even mentioned in the Help file for Crystal 7 'Keep Together' (in regard to memo fields).

I would love to know if there is any work around - because otherwise
Crystal becomes useless to develop anything serious any further, and I will
need to throw it away and do something else. It is totally unprofessional to
have page breaks in the middle of certain information that needs to be kept
together!

The only workaround I know is to use "Keep Group Together", which is found in the change group expert (NOT format section). This will keep all sections between the GH and GF together, but may not work in your situation depending on how your subsections are layed out.

You would add an extra group on a unique field so that each group encompasses one set of sections to be kept together. Then set that groups options using "Keep Group Together" . Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
