I have various databases in Access 2003, and while we will be upgrading to 2007 at some point, there will be many users with 2003 for some time. I have many forms that are based on queries that sort the data in a particular way, sometimes a rather complicated way. Of course once a form is opened a user can resort the data by clicking in any field and telling to sort ascending or descending. This is all fine and well and I want them to be able to do this. The problem is that the sort gets retained in the form's "Order By" property. Then the only way to get it back to the desired default sort is to go into design view, open the form properties and remove the newly inserted "Order By" information. This is not a good state of affairs. I see that in 2007 there is a "Order on Reload" property that is yes or no and seems to keep this from happening when set to ne. Is there any way to achieve this in 2003?
