A report that is laid out in 4 columns on an 8 1/2 x 11 page. Sorted Alphabetically.
Running vertically and then horizontally. The columns include names, addresses and phone numbers.
A section header takes the first letter of the last name. Thus...
[pre] A[/pre]
Abraham
Adams
Anderson
etc.
[pre] B[/pre]
Barnes
Bernier
Bowman
etc.
Trouble is sometimes the section header will appear all alone at the bottom of a column...or in one case, at the very bottom of the 4th column on a page.
I don't want to have a new column "after a section" because you could have only one or two names in a column, and then a whole bunch of blank space running down the page.
Also, I don't want to force a new page after a section.
Is there something I can do to make sure that the section header isn't orphaned?
Thanks.
