Hello all,

I have a filter for my report and everytime I run my report I have to keep resetting my filter. Any Ideas to fix this?? I know that I could use a seperate query, but I would rather not since I source 7 reports from the same query due to different users needs so a filter per report is better.

Thanks in advance,

Danny

You haven't said how you're applying the filter--I assume you're either providing it on the OpenReport action, or switching the report to Design View, entering the Filter and FilterOn properties, and switching back to Print Preview.

With the filtered report in Print Preview, all you have to do is save it using File|Save on the menu. The next time you open it, the filter will be in place, unless you override the filter when executing the OpenReport action. Rick Sprague

Rick,

I do have it in the properties, filter and filter turned on. I save it every time and I go and rerun it and it is no longer there.

1. What version of Access are you using?
2. How does the report get opened? Rick Sprague
