We are having a problem with a client application that connects to our server hanging up and not responding. I keep seeing TCP Connection Dropped, in the sonicwall log with the IP address of our server and client. The client and server are on separate subnets, separated only by this sonicwall. On both incoming and outgoing interfaces, there is a Allow any to Any for Any service access rule enabled.
I'm not sure why these connections are being dropped and the logs don't provide any more information. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

The connection monitor in the Sonicwall would be a good start. If that doesn't give you enough info run a packet capture from within the Sonicwall and look at it in Wireshark. This will give you much more detail on to what's actually going on.

Are both zone's marked as trusted?
