Karaoke effect on scrolling text

Hello again,

Is there an existing method or tutorial describing how to have auto scrolling text window in which words are highlighted progressively, like a karaoke machine. I am going to try to have audio commentary with scrolling highlighted text to accompany the audio commentary , the idea is to cater for both hearing and visually impaired users.

I think you need to do this manually - simply every tune is different and you can't automate these things. You can use cue points to control the text though.
