ISP's being near the top of the list for infections is definitely not a good thing.

pechengs, I'd like to hear your spin on this recent threat as I'm sure others here would as well.

Well, another new virus/worm as expected, but this one may be a very nasty one. I haven't read much but all I can say is make sure your patched, have your anti virus fully updated, have a fully operating firewall ( not just window's firewall as it only blocks incoming) and avoid opening e-mails from people/orgs you don't know, and lastly, use a hips programme ( Heuristic Intrusion Prevention System ).

Basically, don't open any dodgy e-mails, if in doubt delete them!

prevX: free, this is a stable beta

antihook: very aggressive but good and free.

Processguard: has a free version, stops anti virus/ firewall from being terminated by a virus/worm etc!

Sentinel: free, scans for viruses etc on start up!
