I am trying to log in a user on a new install on a K-155. I have SIP register enabled (My B179 registers) I have the 46xxspecials.txt and K1xxSupgrade.txt files modified to the new version of IP office. Here are the logs when the phone downloads from the HTTP server.

I have user Alex and at extension 295 setup as a SIP extension. I have the password on the extension and supervisor settings tab to both 1111.

Monitor is showing 403 forbidden when I use the extension number as the username.

I also used the users name as the username and it fails with same error.

What am I missiing?

Extension would be correct as SIP username for registration. Did you configure a SIP domain in IPO? The phone uses 172.16.20.13 as SIP domain.

I would
- compare the vantage registration los with those of the B179
- enable default filters in Monitor to see if IPO generates an error message that gives more information...

IP Office remote service
Fixed price SIP trunk configuration
CLI based call blocking
SCN fallback over PSTN

Vantage connect uses the user's extension number and the user's password (not the extension password or the user login code).

btw. as already seen in another thread today, simple passwords like 1234 and 1111 are also being automatically rejected as too obvious.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I do have 172.16.20.13 in the Domain field. I currently have TLS port 5061 not checked. So it is using TCP 5060 instead. Shouldn't it use TCP 5060 instead of TLS 5061?

Sizbut, I'll change the password tomorrow when I am back onsite to something harder. Thanks
