Hi All,

I have been working with java on and off for the previous 2 years and I currently working on a program that requires information to be taken off of an IPAQ (4155).
The rest of the system is being written in Java.
J2ME has been set up okay but I have no idea how to get it running on my IPAQ. All the JVM's I have seen seem to be really expensive or not available anymore as my budget is very limited; I was wondering if there was an alternative solution?
Originally I was planning to use MIDP 2.0 with the aim of using wireless and awt features

Please could some tell me if they have had a similar experience where they have given up on using J2ME and used another development environment?
