Greetings,

My company is looking at upgrading to Office 2003 from Office 97. There are 5000 employees and the upgrade would be quite costly. We are collecting information from departments around the company that need the upgrade due to incompatibility issues that they are having, etc.

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some good justification (other than the obvious!) because believe it or not, this is going to be a very tough sell for us.

I thank you, in advance, for your help and your time!

Lori

I just wonder, why do you need more justification then "incompatibility issues " ?
If that is not enought o convince the 'bosses', nothing else will convince them.
Beside the obvious as you atate it, the rest is nice-to-haves, so there are no real justifications left.

A alternative is
or

A lot cheaper than M$crosoft products and will enable your corporation to have the same version of a good office product, without the compatibility problem you have now.

One more Operating System upgrade and you probably won't be able to run Office 97 at all. After all, it is 6 nearly 7 years and 3 Operating Systems old, originally written to run on Windows 95.
