Just wondering about an update

Can someone please advise me on something?

I have my site, which I'm really chuffed with (

However, whenever I want to add something to the navigation, I have to change that part of code on every page. I'm ok doing this, its just a little long winded.

So, I'm wondering if I can upgrade the navigation to be a seperate file, that is pulled in for the various sections, thus making updating them a load easier.

If I could have one layout for Home, one for Cannonball, so on and so forth...

Anyone have any ideas/comments on this?
