I use CR XI Developer edition and I would really like to know if it is possible to add pictures to a report without having to load them from a file.
My Delphi application generates a list of bitmaps; is it possible to adds them to the report directly. It would be very important, please help me if you know the answer.

You could write the pictures to a table, and join the table to the dataset.

Otherwise I don't know a way to do so.

Yes but I don't have a dataset. You mean that I should build up a dataset just for this purpose? And writing them to a table doesn't mean having physical files (bitmaps)? I would like to avoid that. It is possible to do so with Rave Reports but Rave doesn't have other features that crystal have.

There may be a way, I just don't know of it.

You can create a recordset and pass it to the database, and within that have images as a data type.

Here's a method when using the RDC:

It's not likely that it shows how specifically to do so using Delphi, but it should prove useful.
