I'm currently using Outlook 2003 to retrieve my Voice Mail from our Avaya Voice Mail system using IMAP.

I'm trying to duplicate the settings in my new Outlook 2013 IMAP but Outlook 2013 doesn't allow me to turn 'off' the Automatic checking of Account settings when I select IMAP.
When I try to click next to continue, it checks my settings and fails the outbound test and won't let me continue.
Is there away I can get Outlook 2013 to ignore the outbound settings since I won't be doing any outbound voice mails? I just want to retrieve (inbox) my voice mails.
Is there away to turn 'off' the Auto checking and save my setup?

I've not looked in Outlook 2013 yet, but in previous versions, there was a checkbox somewhere in the process for automatically checking settings. I unfortunately do not recall where that is off-hand.

kjv, thanks for the reply,
I know where that is but once I select IMAP it automatically turns the Auto test "on", then grays it out so that I can't change it back to "off".
I even tried setting it up as POP then changing it back to IMAP just before I click "next", but it immediately turns the Auto Test 'on'.

I'm wondering if there's a new setup for Outlook 2013 or if there's a way to get around the Auto Test when using IMAP?
Is there a way to turn 'off' Auto Test for IMAP?

I tried POP but that just gives me more errors.
