Just for the heck of it I'd like to view the source of this page:

It only contains a single graphic and no text, or links etc. The problem is, Internet Explorer has the Right click view source greyed out and the View / Source on the menu is greyed too. When exploring the temporary internet files folder, this page cannot be found.

Don't know why microsoft has done this. What are they trying to hide ?

Thanks for any light shed on this "grey" area.

Microsoft didn't do it, the page designer did.

If you can't view source on any web pages, try this:

Backup the registry and/or export the following keys:
go to Start>Run, type regedit. Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions
if there is an entry named NoViewSource, right-click on it,m choose modify and type in the number 0.

Thanks for the tips and the quick response reghakr.

It turns out that the answer was so obvious that I overlooked it. The url is simply a link to an image (.jpg) and not to a html document (.htm). Therefore, no source. Doh !

Thanks again .. -=R=-
