I have a CICS sp:30DHC12 and a Call Pilot 31.10.14.22 and what's going on is when the users external forward the T7316 sets to their cell phones the icons on the autodial key on the other sets show for awhile then disappears, the display still shows the number they are forwarded to and it still works but just curious as to why it would go away like that, any ideas ??

What type of lines do you have and what method of external forwarding are you using?

- Extension forwarding via routing/destination tables
- voicemail box forwarding (from within a mailbox)
- Centrex based (RBOC, Central Office line) line forwarding

Are you sure that the call hasn't completed, thus naturally dropping the call indicator?

normal loop lines (pots)

feature 4 to external number (cellphone)

the autodial icon your talking about that goes out is it indicating the line or the ext.
in other words
co line button or dss button

this icon is beside the sets autodial button on the other telephones,it represents ext. 21's status on ext. 22 for example

then thats why

when you call the ext it shows as busy ,for the duration of the transfer,
set rings, answers, picks up line, dials fwd number, hangs up
after call is transferred,
now set is considered idle again so the icon drops
