Hello All,

I currently use a 600mHz Imac with OS 9.1 and I've maxed out the RAM with a 256. I notice that OSX requires 128 megs of RAM. Will the added requirements of OSX actually slow down my machine or be more hassle than its worth because I now have less memory for apps.

Thanks,

Bucky

1) for free you can upgrade to MacOS 9.2.2

2) the maximum RAM for a iMac (600 Mhz) is 1 gigabyte, so you can upgrade to enough RAM for OSX

3) I would want more than 256 meg for OSX Panther (10.3)

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
