A shot in the dark! Have client with Win 7/Juno e-mail. She did "something" while viewing an e-mail, and all of her "Inbox" mail disappeared! (folder is still active)
Does anyone have experience with Juno, or should I just leave it alone, and tell her to contact Juno?

This appears to be a Web Mail setup, is your friend viewing the mail via some other E-mail client like Outlook etc., or is she using a browser to access Juno. If it is the former then many E-mail programs have settings to hide or show mail.

linney:
That's the problem. Yes - straight Juno. She started years ago with Juno free dial-up. Now that she has modern hi-speed - she just switched over to Juno hi-speed! "Too old to learn new e-mail program".
Anyway, e-mail inbox still works OK, nothing hidden. I know that PST files make back-ups. Do web mail programs do that, or is it all on the Juno servers? If on the computer, any idea of where?
I know nothing about web mail e-mail - and I'm not sure that I want to! <grin>

Web mail, which I think Juno is, would be checked via your browser and logging in to their site? It also can be setup to use your own E-mail program such as Outlook etc., rather than using a browser. Mail would be held on, read, and deleted from the Juno Servers, or downloaded to your machine via any E-mail program. Whether these actions are done via your browser or your E-mail program (Outlook etc.) is a matter of choice.

Thanks, she is using straight Juno (web-mail) - no other e-mail program. I think I'll just continue to advise her to contact Juno. I don't want to get any deeper into this one.
The sad part is that she has Comcast for an ISP (could use the provided e-mail system), and she is paying separately for the Juno! You can lead a horse to water...

Thanks linney, but that is not her problem. Everything works O.K. NOW - it was "something" she did to delete all of the unread messages from her inbox, and where did they go? (so she won't do it again <grin>) They're not in Deleted, or Spam. I was hoping for the equivalent of a PST backup somewhere.
I'll just have to wait until she contacts Juno "help".
Maybe I can convince her to get a real email program!
