Junk Mail Handler

I am testing the new Junk Mail Handler in the GroupWise Client (6.5). When I enter a specific e-mail address (e.g. bob@hotmail.com), incoming e-mail from that address is either blocked or sent to junk as it suppose to be.
However, if I attempt to block/junk the whole domain (e.g. hotmail.com)all inbound e-mail makes it through to the mailbox.
I have tried the following syntax:

hotmail.com
*.hotmail.com
*@hotmail.com

All e-mails make it through, what am I missing here? The documentation says you can block or junk at the domain level.
