I have some flash files I downloaded from a website. They play fine through the website, but when I have saved them from my Temp Internet folder, and play them from my hard drive, the jump and crackle for the first 3 or 4 loops, and then settle down. It's not a processor problem as I have Pentium 3 500mhz and 128mb ram. Any ideas ?

hi KWunder

It may be that the loop is dependent on server resident variables for the first couple of loops and it is trying to find possibly a text file or another mc. Have you tried opening the file with Flash and testing the movie, have a look at the output window and see if anything is being asked for by the movie.
