Jumboframe question

hello,

I have a 3750 and want to configure some ports to use jumbopackets with clients that support JP. I have no problem with the configuration but have one question about machines without jumbopackets.

What if one machine configured to use jumboframes tries to send information to a machine not using jumbo?

Any idea?

Generally the machine that does not have Jumboframe support will throw away the packet thinking it was malformed or corrupted on the wire.

Translation: It won't work.
