Jumbled/Garbage text printing from dynamic PDF's

We have been creating PDF files with a few different product, MS SQL Reporting, PDFKit.net and ABCDPF and a small percentage of the time the PDF prints as garbage text. We've seen the problem happen with Adobe 5, 6 and 7 using a variety of printers. The occurance seems to be random and the same PDF that was printed as garbage text will print fine with a second print attempt to the same printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same problem with our Xerox printer (looked like wingdings). Installed a PostScript-compliant driver and lived happily ever after. Acrobat likes the PS drivers for some reason....
