I need some help with a Jtable that I am using to allow user input. After entering data, when going back to edit a cell, the curse is on the right and the numbers are added to the existing cell. Is there a way to go back clean the cell and enter new data thats accepted only after an enter or a tab key stroke? Thanks...

Pardon?

What shall happen, when the user moves the cursor by mouse after editing a cell?
Restore the old value?
And if he closes the parent view?
