jsp database access

guys..im new to jsp...can anyone gimme a little code on how to access an oracle database using jsp and sql to retreive search results?

I am using IBM websphere and need to write the code on the button click property. I see there is an onclick event. I dunno the code.

Any ideas??

Hi,

I think you may have misunderstood tek-tips a bit - we are not a "help desk / free code place" - we help professionals with their coding problems - ie someones posts code that they are having problems with, and we help fix it - this is different to "gimme a little code", as you put it.

PS, the "onclick" event that you mention is Javascript - not Java ....
