JRE Version.

Dear All,

Kindly be informed that i'm using Java version 1.5 and i'm trying to run java application uses JRE version 1.3.1_01.
It cannot be run and i have an error message of "WRONG JRE VERSION IS USED!"

Kindly advise how to run this application taking into consideration that it runs through HTTP connection.

I'd say it's an application problem: try installing JRE 1.3

Looks, as if the programmer made a bad decision, trying to determine your JRE-Version (and probably only counting from 1.3 to 1.4).

I bet the application (applet?) would run without the explicit test.
