I have a jpg scan and a bmp map scan that i need to trace and/or have in my figure. When I import through insert/OLE all I get is a box with the file name and no image. It works on a occassion to just cut and paste but I was hoping to have the OLE refernce for people to be able to expand on the image at a future date.

Image works very well. You can also drag and drop your .jpg or .bmp This works really well if you have several to insert. You can grab them all and drop them. Works in Office documents also.
