jpg images print out blurry

After receiving a test print from the printing company I noticed that some of the jpg images I placed in the program are blurry. I am working on a football program for our high school and received a disk of the football players pictures on it from a professional photographer. When I opened the pictures on the disk they were horizontal and huge. I copied them into my ACDSee program, made them smaller and then placed them into the football program. They printed okay on my home printer but when they were printed out on the Xante Accelerwriter they came out very blurry.

I have tonight to take care of this and e-mail the pages back to the printer so PLEASE help.

Use File -> Place to import the images directly into PM without any editing.

Re-scale proportionally in PM if necessary by holding down the shift key while dragging a corner handle.
