.jpg attachment to .dat file

I am being set a email feom outlook express 6 with a .jpeg attachment. The file is arriving as a split file each containing a part number ie (2/2) and consisting of an unreadable .dat file ie. ATT000008.dat. How can I join these files togeather and convert back to a .jpg file

Selet the two emails, right-click, select "Combine and decode".
