Hi all, I need to install the oracle 8i clients and i don't have the cds, i was trying to download from oracle but i get errors, would some one tell me from where I can download the software.

Of course you should download from Oracle, or order the CD. They own the software, so you need to follow their licensing procedures.

What error do you get when you try to download?

Cannot find server or DNS Error

What page are you trying to load when you get the error? Are you following a link from another screen? If so, what screen?
 
What URL are you using..

Go to
Register and download from their downloads section.

Be aware that it takes a long time even with a fast connection and sometimes times-out without an error message, so check the file size after the download to see if it is what it should be.
