Hello, I am running Micros 3700 and I cant figure out how to date stamp and move my journal.txt file with auto sequences. I copied my back office from another machine and the original works fine for some reason i cant figure it out with the new one and it keeps over writing itself. i found a third party program that will copy and datestamp the file when in windows. Does anyone know how to change the location the jrnl.txt file is saved to?
thanks in advance.

Keith

There is a bat script for it. Should be in your support files if Micros put those on your computer. Will try and link a copy for you tonight.

I found where the file path is in pos config then devices do you know how i would change the path to a drop box folder currently it just has ..\journals\jrnl.txt so i dont know what i would need to put to get it to go to a drop box folder.
