anyone have any opinion on joining two tables in the same database as compared to joining two tables in different databases, but still on same server.

i am wondering if there would be a performance hit?

Thoughts?

I dont think there will be a performance hit, its a pretty common thing to do, best way to find out is test it by copying the table over to the other database
