Joining queries in a report

I have a report where one part gives a summary of hours worked and total cost by individual staff members. On this report, I'm trying to add a seperate section that will display information on cost and details from 3rd party companies. In the end I'm trying to add all totals from each staff member and the totals from the 3rd party company. I tried appending my original query for the staff members but am not getting any luck.

Ok, got some results using a subreport. Under the subreport there are 12 different sections each representing a differnt company. Is there a way I could have my subreport display only 1 section at a time instead of all 12?
