First of all i would like to say i am new to Linux (Being oracle Dba on windows) . I would like to test Oracle Database in Linux. So i want to join (? or add to the network) my linux server to the Existing Windows 2000 Domain so that users from windows can connect to the oracle database I have just got myself Caldera linux 3.1.1. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
you need to run Samba but take a look at the documentation.
If it is installed alreadythe configuration should be in /etc/smb.conf but it's long.
