I am sure one of you people out there can help me. You haven't let me down yet !
I am attempting to join a new server (Exch 5.5 on Win 2K) to an existing site (Exch 5.5 on NT4) and during the install I get a permissions error - C1030b22 - just after the replication progress bar finishes and during the installation set up phase. Both servers are in the same domain.
Have checked the usual stuff:
a) installing as Service Account
b) added the Service Account to Domain Admins
c) made reciprocal entries in each servers HOSTS file
d) reloaded SP4 on existing server
e) made sure Service Admins (?) has permissions on the existing servers Org, Config and Site containers. Should this permission be set to something else ?
What other permissions need to be set ?
All/any comments gratefully received.
